AC/DC Announces Stadium Tour of Australia & New Zealand:

AC/DC Announces Stadium Tour of Australia & New Zealand
AC/DC will take its Rock or Bust tour for a pre-Christmas homecoming lap.

The rock titans announced Friday they’ll play outdoor stadiums in each of Australia’s five big cities in the southern summer, starting Nov. 4 at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium and wrapping Dec. 6 at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium. Dates in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand will follow. The itinerary has a lot of wiggle room should the band decide to add extra dates.

AC/DC 'Bust's to No. 1 on Top Rock Albums

It’ll be the band’s first tour Down Under since the Black Ice stadium run of 2009, which shifted some 750,000 tickets (including 650,000 in Australia alone). Melbourne-based Van Egmond Group presented the Black Ice tour and he’ll do so again for the upcoming trek.

The Rock or Bust World Tour starts May 5 in the Netherlands and rolls out across Europe through to July. The European dates sold 1.75 million tickets within 24 hours of going on sale, according to a rep for the band.

The group headlines this weekend’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the North American tour proper will run from August through to September, after which they'll head Down Under. Tickets for the Australia dates will go on sale April 20 and New Zealand show tickets will be available to buy in May.

Rock Or Bust opened at No. 1 in December on Australia’s albums chart, where it’s the band’s fifth chart-topper.

Nov. 21 -- Adelaide Oval
Nov. 27 -- Domain Stadium, Perth
