Ed Sheeran Receives a 'Game of Thrones' Sword and Freaks Out (Video)

Winter is coming and now Ed Sheeran is prepared for it.

The British singer/songwriter acted like a kid on Christmas morning after he was gifted with a Game of Thrones sword during an appearance on The Hits Presents Sam Smith Live in New Zealand radio show this week.

Describing what happens as he opens the package doesn't really do his giddy reaction justice. It's just one of those videos you have to watch.

And we guess we'd be pretty excited too if we got a sword just like Jon Snow's from the HBO series. "This is like one of the best birthday presents I've ever got," he said of the slightly delayed gift, noting he wanted to get Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington, to autograph it for him.



Oddly enough, this isn't the first sword Sheeran has been gifted with. He previously received a Lord of the Rings-inspired sword that he later revealed he almost stabbed Taylor Swift with.
