Elvis Costello has always had a talent with words, and now he’s expressing himself in the longest possible form.

The British singer-songwriter will release his memoirs Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink later this year, his publisher Penguin Books has announced.

The 352-page tome has a street date of Oct. 15 and will be “rich with anecdotes about family and fellow musicians, introspective about the creation of his famous songs,” according to the blurb accompanying the announcement.

Costello recently turned 60 and “is in the pantheon of elder statesmen musician/rockers,” according to Penguin, with a career which launched in style with his 1977 debut album, My Aim Is True. Along the way he built a global fanbase, produced The Specials’ great self-titled debut, collaborated with the likes of Paul McCartney and Questlove, and married Diana Krall. The rest, well, you’ll have to wait for the book.
