Lana Del Rey Recruits Grimes for 'Endless Summer' Tour:

Lana Del Rey has recruited Grimes as a support act for her previously announced 2015 tour, now dubbed "Endless Summer." The artful electro-pop singer will open for Del Rey at 10 shows – including a newly added June 9th gig in Mansfield, Massachusetts – beginning May 28th in Noblesville, Indiana and continuing through June 16th at West Palm Beach, Florida.

In December, Del Rey announced a run of eight joint shows with former Hole frontwoman Courtney Love; the duo will open their jaunt on May 7th in The Woodlands, Texas and part ways following a May 22nd show in Ridgefield, Washington.

Though the two musicians have never toured together, they have shared the stage in a roundabout way. After Del Rey covered Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" onstage in 2012, Love tweeted at the singer, "You do know the song is about my vagina, right? 'Throw down your umbilical noose so i can climb right back,' umm. On top of which some of the lyrics about my vagina I contributed. So umm next time you sing it, think about my vagina will you? lol xc. You are gorgeous and very talented. It was all in good humor, love. It is true, however."

Del Rey released her third studio album, Ultraviolence, in 2014. While Grimes hasn't revealed details of her upcoming fourth LP, she recently contribute the Bleachers collaboration "Entropy" to an episode of HBO's Girls.
